HCI Research : Masters Thesis
The University of Michigan School of Information hosts an intensive Research Experience for Master’s Students with other iSchool master’s students from around the world.
Since 2019 - I engage in ethnographic mixed method research focusing on social media and digital creator equity. My key Research question centered around : How are Millennial creatives of other (MCO) navigating the digital landscape to advocate for themselves and their community? This research is in review for publication.

UX Research : Contextual Inquiry
The National Space Grant Consortium was established by Congress in 1989 to expand the opportunities for students interested in NASA research and design.
The University of Michigan has been involved with the since its conception, but still facing the problem of low rates of underrepresented minorities applying for the program. Each year NASA publishes participation benchmarks the MSGC must meet in order to stay compliant and they’re searching for ways to increase their rates of URM applicants

The Brooklyn Museum is the second largest museum in New York with a collection totalling around 500,000 pieces. Many of which are donations that come through their Library and Archives.
As my first major research design project, back in 2012. This project lead to the creation of a internal tool that is still in use to this day!

Given to me by the University of Michigan Alumni Association as apart of a design request. They were looking to reach reach recent grads and digital natives through a website redesign.
